Bereavement Support Group

You Are Not Alone

If you are struggling with grief, our patient support group is a place to share experiences and feelings in a safe, confidential environment.

Anyone is welcome at the Group. You may have lost a husband or wife, a partner, a sibling, a parent, a child or a dear friend. Your grief may be recent or historic, but if you are struggling we are here for you.

If you are interested in joining, give us a ring or pop into the surgery and we will make sure we are there to meet you and walk you into the first meeting.

Where Are We?

The group has been running for 2 years and is based in a private room at the Thatched cottage on a Friday afternoon, having out-grown Dr Hughes' office at the Surgery.

Who Are We?

Our Group is run by two facilitators; Kay, who has 16 years' experience as a  Bereavement volunteer following the loss of her husband Mike, and Karen Allen, the point of contact at the surgery for those who have lost loved ones.
